Abdul Hadi M. Alaidi

Abdul Hadi Alaidi is a professor in the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at Wasit University, where he has been a faculty member since 2014. He currently serves as Assistant Dean of the college.

Previously, he worked as the Manager of the Computer Information Center at Wasit University and later as the IT Manager at the College of Engineering. He has developed a Student Record Information program in cooperation with Virginia Tech, sponsored by IREX.

Abdul Hadi earned his Ph.D. in Information Technology from Uniten, Malaysia, in 2024, after an M.S. at Bridgeport University whose thesis explored a new hybrid method to solve mTSP. His research interests lie in the area of algorithms, ranging from theory to design and implementation, and extend to cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and data privacy.

عبد الهادي العايدي أستاذ في كلية علوم الحاسوب وتكنولوجيا المعلومات بجامعة واسط، وهو عضو في الهيئة التدريسية منذ عام 2014. يشغل حالياً منصب معاون عميد الكلية.

عمل سابقاً مديراً لمركز الحاسبة الإلكترونية في جامعة واسط، ثم مديراً لتقنية المعلومات في كلية الهندسة. وقد طوّر برنامجاً لإدارة سجلات الطلبة بالتعاون مع جامعة فرجينيا للتقنية، برعاية مجلس البحوث والتبادل الدولي (IREX).

نال عبد الهادي شهادة الدكتوراه في تقنية المعلومات من جامعة تناغا الوطنية (Uniten) في ماليزيا عام 2024، بعد الماجستير في جامعة بريدجبورت الذي تناولت رسالته طريقة هجينة جديدة لحل مسألة البائع المتجول متعدد المسارات (mTSP). تتركز اهتماماته البحثية في مجال الخوارزميات، من الجانب النظري إلى التصميم والتنفيذ، وتمتد إلى الأمن السيبراني والذكاء الاصطناعي وخصوصية البيانات.
